Hello,
Helmet is not part of the suit. VMSK-4 suit consists out of outer orange suit (with gloves), inner insulation suit and boots. All other things are extras - VKK-6MP-1, special version of PPK-1 pants (forgot its proper designation) and helmet.
Thanks,
Alexei

I don't understand very well. I have a VKK-6M pressure suit which is green. This is a partial pressure suit while the VMSK-4 suit is fully pressurised.
Am I right?
By the way, I intend to sale/to exchange my VKK-6M pressure suit (size 7). Do not hesitate to make offer. Cheers, Bruno

VMSK is just a survival suit - it is not pressuruzed. In order to fly in it at high altitudes, pilots need to wear VKK-6MP-1 suit underneath VMSK orange and insulation suits.

3 layers of different suits? Are you sure?
It still does not explain HOW the pressurisation is achieved, especially between the VMSK-4 suit and the helmet.

Sorry, forget about my last message. I have understood that the suit is not pressurised... 3 layers of suits...must be quite unconfortable.

Hello,
Yes, there are 3 layes on total. Outer orange VMSK, inner insulation and ventilation TZK and then VKK-6. Yes it is rather uncomfortable to wear, but VMSK was made to allow pilots to survive in cold water (0 degrees C) and weather (of up to -15 degrees C) for 12 hours.
Cheers,
Alexei

I have a VKK-6M suit. Apparently its size is P11. It corresponds to what I should call "Medium size".
I should like to exchange it to a XL size one. (a VKK-6M or any other pressure suit of size XL).
Cheers, Bruno

VKK suits have 12 sizes only - size 11 is the second largest one. So if size 11 is very small for you (at least that's what I understood from your post), chances are size 12 will also be too small.
Sorry,
Alexei
